What a boy!!

So as always, Jameson has had several new experiences and new "skills". It's so much fun watching him learn!! He can open all the doors in the house, and really enjoys going from one room to the next, simply because he CAN! He loves to open ALL of the cabinets in mama's kitchen, just looking not touching, and leaving them all open while he heads to find his toy basket. He can now "say" stick, rock, more, bird, flower (he loves to pick flowers for mama), "tink" when he is stinky:), and "bah" for bless you when mama sneezes. We are slowing starting to learn more sign, he's really picking it up now. He is signing for drink and milk now too. He still LOVES his books, and luckily, has chosen 3 or 4 more favorites so I now have 7 or so to rotate through 25 times every day:) He gets so excited to read a book, and loves to snuggle with mama and our blanket while doing so. He talks ENDLESSLY!! He'll tell you a story for 2 or 3 minutes! He knows his, mama's, dada's and all of his jungle animals' eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair. He will also lift his shirt to show you his belly! He loves to run from room to room, chasing or being chased by the dogs! He cracks up laughing thinking the dogs are after him, especially around the patio table when he's holding a stick. He throws his arms back behind him and starts running and looks as if he's about to take off:) It's super cute. He has been in a music class where he has learned to "play" different instruments and dance-he loves that! The drums are his fave. He can tell you what a cow says and what a dog says, but telling you what a monkey says makes him the happiest!! Yesterday he had his first toy store experience, where he was so overwhelmed he couldn't stand it!! He loves to go to PetSmart to see all the animals. He loves the fish, the birds, not sure about all the rodents (whew!) and calls all of the cats "lila". He successfully navigates his way up and down the mountain of our backyard, and loves it. Thibadeaux still takes away almost every stick he picks up, and it makes him pretty angry! He loves to chuckle, too, which is the cutest darn thing ever. There are certain pages of his books where he will laugh a little. And sometimes he just chuckles at himself! He'll say something and then chuckle, and he may do it several times...I can hardly stand it! He has always been a great eater, but his latest meals have included grilled halibut, grilled eggplant, chicken parmesan, zucchini and hummus with cucumbers and tomatoes. He loves everything!!
