February/March catch up

So I thought it was time to catch up on some pictures...some people have forgotten what our child looks like:) So here are some new ones from Feb and March, since we moved into thenew house...yes, we've moved AGAIN! Also, update, for those of you who don't know...we're expecting a little girl early this summer. Jameson is very excited about that.

This is Jameson's 1st encounter with a corn dog. Although I hate the idea of giving my child a corn dog...the organic kind I can deal with when I'm in a pinch for time to cook dinner. This is Jameson's 1st encounter with an Oreo cookie. Up until now, a cookie was an animal cookie or graham cracker. Now, I'm afraid, he knows there's a whole other world out there.

Here is Jameson in his new bug pajamas with matching robe. It looks like all he needs is a cigar!

This morning he insisted on wearing his frog rubberboots with his pajamas to breakfast.
Who could resist??
Well, then he didn't like the idea of taking off either his pajamas or his rubber boots when it was time to go outside to play. So, we compromised (sort of) with a sweater and a hat. (Hey, if that's all the fuss he gives me then I'm a lucky gal:))
He loves our new house with all of this flat land to run and play. Plenty of rocks and sticks to collect. And he loves chasing the dogs around the yard yelling "boys, pome" (boys, come) or Thi Thi, pome (imitating me calling Thibadeaux). It's quite entertaining and makes for great naptimes.
Hence, what I mentioned earlier about maptimes...Jameson now has a habit of getting out of his toddler bed to play with all of this animals until he absolutely passes out. Here he poses between the legs of a fallen elephant. Smart kid...it makes for a great headrest (even though he's sitting upright!).

Here is Jameson in one of his "cool duds" outfits for church.
Jameson and Mama before church

Mind taking me for a ride??
Another nap on the floor, this time with the panda bear. My poor child DOES have a bed you guys!! I know some of you are wondering...no I don't make him sleep on the floor!
After finishing his own breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast in his high chair...he realizes that dada may have some goods left over. 'If I can just squeeze up through here maybe I'll get a bite!'
'YES, it worked...crazy hair and all!'
Some more cool duds for church...this is Jameson's 1st time wearing a tie. Granny passed this tie and a few more down to us. She bought them about 19 years ago when her 1st grandson, Dusty, was dressing up for church.

Copper Mountain

So, on New Year's Eve we headed up to Copper Mountain ane met up with Papaw, Tori, Luke and Uncle Jerry for a few fun filled days of skiing and playing while staying in a GORGEOUS 5 bedroom custom ski in/ski out house. It was GREAT! We all had a great time. Here is Papaw reading Jameson one of his favorite books. Here is Jameson riding in his sled that Nanna and Poppy got him for Christmas. This is really another "family gift" as it is a 2 seater and Jameson's just waiting for his little sister to join him for a ride in the snow!

Here is Granny pulling Jameson along in the sled.

Here is the family tubing down Coca Cola Tubing Hill which was just around the corner from our house.
Here is Jameson in his oh-so-darling snow suit! It was naptime so he had to give in to the binky!

This was Papaw's 1st trip to enjoy the snow covered mountains of Colorado!

Here is Colton just off the ski lift ready to head down the mountain.

Waiting to take off on our... snowmobiles.

What a way to end a day!

So it was a WONDERFUL trip! Aside from 4 altitude-sick children, 1 set of stitches (obtained while snowboarding) and 1 broken leg (obtained while walking)...it was FANTASTIC!! Oh, and yes, there was that matter of me flipping my snowmobile...who would've thought that skiing was the safest thing that this then 14 week pregnant gal would be doing that weekend!?!?

Mr. Biggs

We had a little family vacation of sorts with some of my (Jamie's) family. Aunt Wendy, Colton, Seth and Jessi came up to meet us and Granny for a few days before we met the rest of the crew up in the mountains. We went to Mr. Biggs to play one day. Mr Biggs is kinda like a Chuck E Cheese, but WAY cooler with much mroe variety. Here is Jameson playing in the little kids area. He's got his moose backpack on...you never know when you may need some of your own toys! Jameson is riding the tractor with Granny. Notice he still has his moose backpack on.Finally we got the backpack off and he's playing in the giant sandbox. This is his first encounter with sand. A little hesitant at first...now he's an old pro at this!
This sand pit is HUGE and in a giant cave. It's really cool and now dada is trying to figure out how we can build one at home!

Christmas Morning at Our House!

It's Christmas morning in the Davis house! Here is Jameson as we wake him up to tell him Santa Claus was here!! We left cookies and milk...but forgot to get piks of that the night before. This was Jameson's 1st night in his "big boy bed" and he did GREAT!! Here he is with Lennie. Here is Jameson coming down the stairs...excitement is in the air!
This is one of our trees...this one has our hand blown glass ornaments on it and it spins. Everytime he comes downstairs he likes to go over to the tree and point out all the ornaments to mama...the bird, the bear, the deer, the koala, Papaw's cowboy boot, the house, the duck, Santa Claus, and on and on and on. Despite the presents waiting in the other room...this morning was no different! It's a great memory for us!!
Here is Jameson discovering his Radio Flyer tricycle from mama and dada.Let's give it a go!
He's not quite figured out his moorized 4 wheeler from PawPaw Jerry and Grandma Diane.

He loves to sit in his lounge chair from Nanna and Poppy to read books.

Here is his wagon from Granny and Papaw. This is really a gift for the whole family. It seats 2 kiddos and is a fun ride for everyone!

Here is Jameson's first "video" game of sorts. It's a VTECH interactive learning game that you plug into the tv. He's not that into sitting down to watch tv (thank goodness) but this is a great learning tool, so we'll see how it goes.
Here he is trying on some clothes that mama got him...no fun!
And now he's disocvered his helmet! He's also got on his moose backpack carrying all of his toys on his bike ride! He actually LOVES the helmet!

This was mama's 1st attempt EVER at a Gingerbread house! Granny and I put it together and Jameson thought it was really neat!
Here he is playing his VTECH game...Did I mention he LOVES his helmet?
Drinking juice in the kitchen, it's been a busy morning for the little guy...again with the helmet.
Here he is swinging outside in his new snow suit from MawMaw and GaGa.
