GEAUX TIGERS!!!

We would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to our LSU Tigers on winning the National Champioship Title!! We knew you could do it boys!! Jameson loves to motion for a TOUCHDOWN!! GEAUX TIGERS! LSU is #1!

BathTime is So Much Fun!!!

Jameson can sit up on his own now (if I put him in position, he can't get there himself yet-but we're working on those abs). So now bathtime is SO much fun. He loves the water, and all of his new toys that he got for Christmas. As you can clearly see-he's not missing any meals!!! Starting him on solids has really chunked him up-my adorable little offensive lineman!!
I bet I can stick the whole thing in my mouth!!!

Adventures of the Spoon

Santa Claus brought Jameson a spoon and plate for being such a good boy this year (well, since July at least). So on Christmas day Jameson had his first taste of real food. He did SOOO great eating with a spoon.
Mama made him some sweet potatoes, and he ate them up like a champ! It was definitely time for him to start on solids. He's been coveting our plates and utensils for a couple of weeks now.
He did SSOOOOO great eating with a spoon. Granny says he's super smart, because he knew just what to do with everything on his high chair.
So far now he's had sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas, avocado, applesauce, pears, peas and apple juice. He seems to like everything pretty well.

I'd like some of your fajitas please!!

We're getting the hang of the "sippie" cup...slowly but surely!

Jameson's first Mexican restaurant high chair experience. He really enjoyed looking around at everyone around us. And this is his first time drinking water out of mama's straw! Isn't his little hat the cutest!!

It is a little bittersweet for me, Jameson eating real food now. I greatly enjoyed being the sole factor in his growth and development throughout pregnancy and since birth!! It was incredibly satisfying and empowering. It's the way that God intended it to be. However, I do find great satisfaction in making his food for him now. I prepare all of his meals for him with his own special little “baby blender”- sweet potatoes, avocado, bananas, etc. Everything is then frozen in individual portions and I’m set to go. I set aside just a couple of hours each week to cook/prepare everything. Once he starts expanding his diet a lot more, I’ll be able to blend whatever we’re having for dinner and serve it right up! We’re not doing cereal/rice, whatever it is that is usually the first step. He’ll get these fruits and veggies down and then we’ll move on to chicken and turkey. It’s just so amazing to see his development! He’ll be 6 months old on Sunday and I can’t believe he’s half way to “1”. THAT’S a little depressing!!

Baby's 1st Christmas

Dada started off the opening of presents with his very
own rendition of Silent Night, which Jameson really loved!

Jameson got a lot of great gifts from Santa this year!
Posing with some of our presents! Unfortunately, most of the good present-opening footage is on the video camera. We'll figure out how to add that to our blog soon hopefully.
I'm so hungry I could eat my whole hand!

Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town

It wasn't easy getting the perfect picture of "Frosty" for our Christmas card this year, but it sure was a lot of fun!!!
He fit in with the snowstorm outside!! It won't be long until he's begging to go out and play in it.

This is the 1st birthday party for Jameson's friend Ella.
If you enlarge this picture below, you can see Jameson's hair sticking out on the right side of his head! It's very blonde and it's GROWING!!!!!! I know, I know-he's just too darned cute!!

Kisses for mama (he thinks this will get him in good with Santa. I don't want to bust his bubble!)
Boudreaux and Thibadeaux doing what they do best!

Dada went pheasant hunting, killed some birds, skinned 'em,
brought 'em home and fried 'em up for me and mama!
