Week 2 at a Glance

We have had a very busy week. It started out with Jameson attending his baby shower at church. Uncle Duane and cousin Dusty came into town to meet our little guy. We had a checkup with the midwife and have hit the 8 lb mark. He endured several grueling hours at his newborn photo shoot. He attended his first Sunday church service. And he loves spending quality time with Boudreaux and Thibadeaux.

Love at first sight... Jameson Michael Davis was born at home on July 13, 2007 at 8:09 p.m.. At 7lbs 15oz and 21.5 in. long, he joined us a little earlier than expected at 37 weeks, but he is as healthy as can be. Labor was very fast, Granny and Nanna didn't arrive until a few hours after his birth. Tori was here to help with coaching and had the honor of cutting his cord. Dad was our #1 coach and delivered Jameson himself with verbal cues from the midwives. Below you will see him giving Jameson his first spinal adjustment...pivotal after traveling through the birth canal.
