6 Weeks Old

Jameson wears his sunglasses when we go for a walk in the neighborhood. He's not quite used to them yet.

This is Jameson's first real Big Boy outfit. Up until now he's just worn onesies. Doesn't he look handsome?

5 Weeks Old

Jameson has had a week full of fun. Every day we spend at least a few minutes out in the sunlight. He really enjoys it, it seems to calm him. He took a lot of naps...in the swing, in the bouncy seat, in the crib, in the car seat...he's not picky.

He loves hanging out with dad. And he loves to show off his big, beautiful, blue eyes! I hope they stay!

Early in the mornings after Jameson has breakfast he likes to read books with mom. This is one of our favorite books called "I Love You". It has 4 stories in one book. He's very content in the mornings.

Jameson hung out with a few of his friends this week. In pink we have Selah (sorry Ella and Nola, she got to him first). She was pretty quick to pursue Jameson for his first date! She's a little younger than Jameson, 12 days old. Don't worry ...us moms chaperoned the whole evening of dinner, a little football, and a few games of pool.

We also hung out with Kyle (8 days old, napping in the car seat). They hung out at dad's clinic while the mom's got an adjustment.

1 Month Old

It is amazing how time flies. Now I understand why my mom has always said "it seems like just yesterday" when talking about me as a baby. And I understand the "you'll never know how much I love you". It's amazing!!!

I can't believe Jameson is already 4 weeks old. He has grown and changed SO much already, I can't even imagine what is yet to come.

This week we visited the pediatrician, Dr. Dawson, a really cool gal who wishes she too would've given birth at home! Jameson weighed in at 9 lbs and was an even 23 inches long. He is growing like a weed! He is perfectly healthy and checked out just fine.

Granny headed back to Louisiana this week, we were very sad. She was a great help during the last month, around the house and with our little guy.


Jameson saw his first rainbow this week. It was beautiful from our back deck.

He and dad like taking naps together :)



Jameson has started looking around more and focusing in on objects. He smiles at us some now, and it seems intentional, not just gas!! We have started playing with some toys and he enjoys lying on his back on his little mat and listening to his Baby Mozart. He's going to be SO smart!!!

3 weeks old

Not a whole lot going on this week for Jameson.




He did have his first dining experience at a nice steakhouse so mom could get some protein!! Otherwise there are just a few "look how cute I am" pictures that we took along the way. He's changing every day!! What a huge blessing in our lives.
